Just in time for the weekend!

I recorded 30-minutes of dance good-ness as part of Mike Czech’s and my ongoing mix-CD series promoting JUICY! (every Saturday at Air Conditioned Lounge San Diego, of course).

In searching for a name… the best I could come up with at 2 a.m. was “Pelvic Spasms!”, probably because I didn’t want to settle for the standard “Air Conditioned Lounge Mix Volume 3,” although that probably would have been more than sufficient as well as less retarded.

But whatever.. it’s my mix, so screw you if you don’t like it!

Two weeks ago I invited DJ ONESIX to rock a guest set at Air Conditioned Lounge with me (Mike Czech was busy rock-star’n it in Dallas). As the night progressed he and I engaged in our ritual bird-flippin’ in each other’s directions, mostly because we typically steal songs from each other’s sets.

After the night ended I had an epiphany (is that the right word??). ONESIX and I should just battle it out on a mixtape and just call it “FACE/OFF” You know.. like the movie where the convict and the detective exchange faces and hilarity ensues?

Any way… the format is pretty simple… one of us records 10 minutes and then the other records the next 10 minutes and back to the other and so on until we can’t fit no more on a puny little 74-minute CD.
